Distressed and Old- Vintage TAG mad

Yup- fairy is still on a vintage roll.
I have actually worn out my versacolour "pinecone" ink pad distressing the sides if tags, pages and photo matts.
Usually I just tend to use the ink up but this one is actually worn off the base and there's no foam left!!!

Then there's a giant 8x8 inch

GRATITUDE journal. 

I have had the most fun creating some really unique embellishments on  these.

I used various chipboard shaped pieces to match my theme.

then inked the base colour- 

added a second little touch of a highlight colour, 

then wiped a layer of pearl paint over or used a spray of glimmer mist. 

Next stamping over a pattern in black. 

Placed some rhinestones/pearls and used a really thick layer of glossy accent over the top.

The key in particular is one of my fav's.

I love how the pearl and glimmer mist trapped under the glossy shell look like "cats eye's" very 3d and spooky!!

Well once my camera batteries are charged i also have some new boxes to show you- along with some new altered wooden boxes with circle albums in!!!!!!!!

Custom made album- baby dream journal

This custom made album is a dream journal- a place made to write thoughts wishes and dreams for the upcoming arrival of a baby!

Its just over 6x6 inches made from 3 paper bags- folded to make 6 pages with 12 sides.

I've added some silver keys and a silver heart to the cover to represent "key to my heart!"

There are 3 pull out extra pages hidden away in the "open ends" of the bags. Lots of space to be creative- add photos and hide away treasures.

Gratitude journal- an emerging butterfly

From a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly!

This album has been created for someone special in mind.

Cream, burgundy with a touch of green.

Sparkly arkly with glimmer misted flowers and splattered hand stamped tags ready for thankful thoughts and gratitude’s.LOTS of tags in clear pockets coz i couldnt bear to cover the beautifully detailed card stock.

So disappointed it hasn’t photographed so well, the gold foiled papers as sublime( gold colour of power and strength), with lots of little greeny rhinestones throughout.

It’s bold and punchy. I like the references of birds being freed from their cages! Quite apt I think- representing new beginnings and freedom, growth etc.

Not sure if this is what you had in mind “L”? Won’t be insulted if you no like! Let me know- thought it better to post pics here rather than horrendously large emails to you! The recipient isn’t on my blog mailing list- but just in case I am being cryptic!!
