I have 'die napped" my mums Tim Holtz tattered flowers sizzix die and have been happily making flowers to my hearts content. These ones are layers and layers of different patterned papers- pretty in pink from my shabby chic collection!

FAIRY LEONIE'S HANDCRAFTED GOODIES 

Distressed and Old- Vintage TAG mad

Yup- fairy is still on a vintage roll.
I have actually worn out my versacolour "pinecone" ink pad distressing the sides if tags, pages and photo matts.
Usually I just tend to use the ink up but this one is actually worn off the base and there's no foam left!!!
These are just 2 of the culprits

Then there's a giant 8x8 inch

GRATITUDE journal. 

I have had the most fun creating some really unique embellishments on  these.

I used various chipboard shaped pieces to match my theme.

then inked the base colour- 

added a second little touch of a highlight colour, 

then wiped a layer of pearl paint over or used a spray of glimmer mist. 

Next stamping over a pattern in black. 

Placed some rhinestones/pearls and used a really thick layer of glossy accent over the top.

The key in particular is one of my fav's.

I love how the pearl and glimmer mist trapped under the glossy shell look like "cats eye's" very 3d and spooky!!

Well once my camera batteries are charged i also have some new boxes to show you- along with some new altered wooden boxes with circle albums in!!!!!!!!

Back from beyond ...... the studio

I cant believe a month has gone since i've last blogged!!
Fairies have been busy with  craft market organizing, fairy markets, farm duties- calf rearing and airport submission fighting.
In between i have accumulated a few new items and product lines.

Feeling pink! Shabby chic vintage gratitude box and gratitude album

It's been a girly pink week!
Which in contrast with this weeks farm work is kinda weird.
Lots of assisted births, 2 dead calves and a prolapsed cow, a  couple of snakes....  
hmm maybe a little touch of pink and lace is good therapy for the fairy lady?LOL!
This is the first of 2 boxes and the gratitude paper bag album along this theme.

These Boxes have been an absolute joy to make.
Although when i get my stamps out and i look at how many i have to choose from it is fairy scary!!!
I've just worked out that if i sold 100 boxes I'd probably just get back the cost of my stamps OMG that is EVEN SCARIER!!

Purple butterfly memories and moments album or journal.

I have been thinking about a few friends who are near and dear to me, fighting as well as recovering from cancer.

As i was making this album i was thinking that it would be a perfect gift for someone who is going through such a recovery. 

I chose butterflies as they symbolize the energy of love and joy!I wanted something uplifting but also soothing.I use butterflies a lot in my spiritual work..

In ancient mythology the butterfly stands for wisdom and everlasting knowledge. Butterflies are also transient and symbolize change.Some cultures consider then good luck!! 

And the colour purple is the color of good judgment. It is the color of spiritual fulfillment. It is the colour of peace, symbolizes magic and mystery but is also energizing!

So i hope this album finds the perfect home
