Byron Bay 2012- custom made album for AMY

Sunshine flowers nature and a touch of 70's hippy!

This has been such a fun album to make. 

I've never been to Byron bay-  so I'm hoping that the ideas i had about sunshine and brightness will suit?

It was a bit tricky combining the "funky tigerlily" papers and the "wonder" album, so i used the cream to tie the ideas together.

There's loads of room with no designated photo areas. A few travel quotes sprinkled throughout and hopefully a touch of sunshine!!

Cover- I've kept simple with space for a cropped photo beneath the heading!

Note the butterfly charm on the ribbon, which is fixed so you can slip the photo underneath

A mix of funky summer flowers and gentle sunshine cream- I've added 2 flaps here with no designated areas for photo's, so you can cut and paste a collage if you wish :)

the flaps open to reveal some quotes, as a textural element I have added some sunny orange corflute card

I've added a sneaky little pocket here for note

I've been extra sneaky and added a pocket under a photo area with 2 massive tags for notes. I love the "hemp" braid- its very textural and Hippy!

As well as all that I have added ANOTHER page to the layout

Yes couldnt help but add some texture with this gorgeous corflute chipboard

Pippa Ann- first birthday custom made album for Robyn

I cant tell you how satisfying it is to follow a persons journey through life with my paper bag albums :)

It only seems like yesterday that i was making an album for a new born baby and now she is a year old! I am so honored to be part of this journey- thank you Robyn for allowing me to help preserve your memories.

I have  created a 6x6 inch white paper bag album for Pippa Ann's first birthday

Not too pink and not a butterfly in sight- modern funky and yet I think baby'y enough!

I photographed it in the morning so I'm sorry about the yellow hue- usually the afternoon light is better but i couldnt wait to pop it online :)

I have the personalised cover and dimensional magic'd the rainbow so it has a gloss varnish to it with a tiny hint of glitter. The sun also has a little glitter on it! And the braid apple ribbon at the bottom is ribbed and tied in a knot

The firat page i have left blank for photo's- opposite is a scallop edged flap of extra room

The clouds have a gloss varnish to them- as do the rainbows on the opposite page. Note the scalloped journal area

Provence custom made album for Tanja

Album front cover has a beautiful silver foiled pattern with french words as the focal point

I've added personalised names at the top, distressed the title black and added beautiful soft paper roses

Metal key hole is by TIM HOLTZ- there is a key hanging from the spine too

Photo matt also doubles as a pocket! The opposite page has a flap for extra space

Here is the 8x8 album I’ve made for Tanja and her daughter themed Provence.

When I think of that region in France , i think of  lavender and the green, flowers, springtime, fresh and classical yet modern and funky. 

There is a touch of silver foiled paper throughout which gives this album a really classy feel- I’m not sure that I’ve photographed it that well but you can see slivers of the silver throughout.

I’ve added lots of extra flaps as well as generous journaling areas. A sprinkle of silver metal daisy embellishments and lots of ribbons – to which photos can be slipped underneath.

LOADS of stamping with lots of images throughout.

I wanted a real Paris – France feel to this album so I’ve added a few French words as well as some postage mark shabby chic stamped images and the odd eiffel tower!

There are 12 pages plus fold out pages 8x8 paper bags.

I hope you like it Tanja- Its softer and prettier in real life than my photos :-)
