Preview- wedding paper bag album

This is my last creation before a short christmas break-Yey a few days off!!
I thought I'de share this just before I list it on ebay.

Found these gorgeous embellishments which inspired a soft girly pink, silver and grey paper bag album.
I used the cuttlebug to emboss dots all the way through to give each page a lovely texture.
I wanted the embellishments to be the focal point, so I used the soft pink and a soft grey bazzill to highlight them.
I added lots of subtle touches - like punching an elegant scallop on the corners of the matts. As well as adding pink satin ribbon trimmed in silver. I also like the mix of circular and rectangular photo matts.
I also added my own embellishments by using a kaisercraft flower with a cuttlebug die cut and embossed heart that has a pearl or daisy rhinestone added to it.
Oh and the usual suspects- folders with tags and fold out concertina pages for a bit more added space.
hope you all have a fairy merry christmas and a happy new year!
stay safe over the festive season
best wishes

Great Grandma Album

This paper is so pretty- vintage soft greens and pink.
It's 6x6 inches and there's 12 pages in total- 3 bags 6 pages of 2 sides!
I've matted all the bases of the patterned paper with bazzill cardstock to make the album sturdy.
There are lots of circular photo matts and some really pretty foiled envelopes- tag holder and some titles.
The green butterflies (from 2 crafty) I've sprayed with crafty notions ( from twiddleybitz) pearly green- so they have a shimmer to them and match the greenery of the rose leaves on the papers.
Couldnt help myself by adding a couple of extra fold out pages a tag pocket and 3 extra scalloped tags that I've hidden in the open ends of the bags.
Hope you like it!

NEW! 2crafty vintage style daisy album

I have so fallen in love with the 2crafty range of chipboard!
A new shipment came in a while back and I've only justy had time to make one up for ebay!
Yes still in a panic about the massive amount of stock I have!!
I LOVE these gorgeous daisy flower shaped albums.

I have had so much fun with this format- 6 pages to play with- so that’s 12 sides-

I’ve covered in vintage style papers- grunged the edges and gone MAD with stamping and embossing
( enchanted gold from Stamp it)
flowers- borders and journaling areas nothing has gone un glittered.
Its an amazing colour, it looks gold then bronze and has a lovely hint of warmth. I even embossed the chipboard keys- swirls- hearts- butterflies and padlocks oh and the occasional letter .

There are plenty of pretty details to be found like
the button clock embellishment on the inside cover,
the hanging brass key on a chain
real pearl buttons
gold sprayed flowers
pearls rhinestones
hand cut embossed hearts
a mish mash of lettered titles
2 hanging ‘playing card’ quotes from daisy d’s
the list goes on!
And wow what a way to use those odd alphabet letters up.

If you want to purchase it- go to my ebay shop- happy bidding!

Paper bag album- vintage owl

Oooh I still cant stop making these owls!
Damn that '2crafty' bunch of suppliers- they are too much fun to use.
This little guy was destined for another canvas but was begging to have a special journal/book of his own.
I set myself the challenge of using as much as I could from my patterned scrap stash and odds and ends of embellishments.
I HAVE A LOT of stuff!!!
Probably a bit over the top? But i really like it.
Even sneaked in a butterfly and another owl. Oh and pockets- fold out bits, flaps and a concertina booklet.
Trying to put him on ebay as we speak.
Unfortunately the crafty notions copper spray hasn't photographed that well, it has a really pretty shimmer and sheen and brings out the embossing on the photo matts. Though the hand dyed kaisercraft flowers have come up a treat.
What do you think??

I told you my studio was a mess!!!

Everyone always comments when they visit me for classes or shopping how tidy and organized my studio is!
They never believe me -when I tell them that when I'm 'working' it looks like a bombs hit it!
so here we are - warts and all.
It didn't help that I don't have enough racks for all that Bazzill cardstock that I just ordered and came in!!
Don't say I didnt warn you!!!!

Ps don't forget to come and see me at Cowaramup hall this saturday !!- have a heap of embellishment packs really cheap- lower than RRP!!

Canvas Crazy!

It's looking a lot like christmas!
Must be coming soon as ebays really taken off!
These canvas's are my new hot seller.
They are selling as fast as I'm making them- thats gotta be good?!!- about time too!
if you purchase directly from my blog I'll throw in free postage.
$25 each wow what a bargain.

For those of you who are interested in making your own- they are fun and easy. Also very addictive!
*first get your canvas- flip it so the back is facing you.
*Cut patterned cardstock or paper to just fit the middle and tape /glue to the middle
*use double sided tape on 3 sides of the sides your canvas- pop ribbon or lace in place then staple gun into position- remembering to leave a loop at the top where the adhesive is missing to form your hanger.
*hot glue flowers, buttons etc to cover staples and also any embellishments inside the canvas and onto the papers
*cut a clear sheet of acetate to the size of your canvas then cover each side with paper to hide the canvas sides- like a frame.
* I double glue mine with first double sided tape and then a fine layer hot glue too
* decorate- add rub ons and embellishments
and voila! there's your canvas
have fun!-would love to see your pieces!
