beautiful girl- custom made album for Tegan

Beautiful girl 8x8 inch paper bag album

The gorgeous chipboard shapes are from 2 crafty
I've inked then heat embossed them by hand.
Couldn't help but add rhinestones and purple pearls!!

The beautiful flowers from kaiser craft have been glimmer misted lightly with 'iridescent gold'.
Check out the solid silver charms- the large dragonfly pendant was $10!!! The baby one was $1.00.

The 'girl' embellishment has been made by inking the chipboard then embossing with stamp it holographic embossing powder with a heat gun, Then i put a layer of glossy accents and embedded the letters and a rhinestone into its glossy finish.

The photo matt flap is actually a rare embossed translucent vellum from Brenda Walton.

I have used quite a bit of pearlised card stock and paper throughout.
The flowers and butterflies have all been cut by hand.

The pocket has 3 tags- all blank ready for journalling

detail of chipboard embellishment- tiny tags popped underneath

Lookie what's what hidden beneath the flap!
A cute library pocket made from my a paper that i designed  for stamp it rubber stamps. It's pearl!!

extra flap and more hand embossed chip board embellishments

More goodies hidden under the flap

look there's even MORE!

Pretty flat embellishments with also a highlight of 3 d ones popped in too.

Another flap and tags- the chipboard swirl opposite has just enough room to slip a photo underneath it.

Hidden library pocket ready for secret notes

Cant resist a close up

Volia! it's finished!

Sometimes when your creating or doing something do you wonder where the end result came from??
We'll for me this custom made order was one of those!
It's taken quite a while to complete and now it's done i wonder where it  'channeled' from.
I look at it now and go WOW did i make that?

Simple pleasures make lasting treasures

Oops haven’t had my new stamp’s in the door 5 minutes and have already used them on my latest album!
The lovely Mel from Kaszazz in Bunbury has just delivered a big bag full of goodies.
I've never used kaszazz stamps or products before and I gotta say- impressed!!
They are unmounted and look a bit scrappy- but I gotta tell you the images are crispy clear and i think they will be well used.

So here it is my latest eBay offering
"Simple pleasures make lasting treasures"
a memories paper bag scrapbook album- journal.
As always it's a one off design- i never copy the same layout per bag like many others tend to do, and the papers are nearly the last of that series- DCWV Mariposa.
So here we have it -
ready for sale

for more pics and details or to purchase

have a fairy happy day xxx L

The ends of the bags open to reveal a lovely space to hide Christmas cards and extra photo's.

There's misc 3d snowmen 3d embellishments with a sleigh, snowman, tree and funky Mrs Claus dress.
The Charms are metal stars and hearts and the wooden key is from kaiser craft- which i have inked silver then embossed with bridal embossing powder.

No witty headline -it's WOYWW?

ooh this is looking a bit flash! the camera is making this space look very neat- luckily it doesn't show the dust!!

ribbons papers and my cork board of what to do lists

THE desk

Work in progress christmas album- so in my element got LOTS of glitter!!
Ooh it's that time of the week again- what's on your work desk Wednesday!!
Hosted by our beautiful leader

Can't think of any witty headlines today - it's jut plain old me and my desk!!
Well actually a few shots round the room- coz it looks more specky than my messy work space, ooops a bit like last week??.
I'm in the middle of an order for a gorgeous girl- a Christmas album. I'm really enjoying it as it's my kinda colours- silver blue white. There are absolutely no christmas papers or embellishments around at the moment, I guess because of the post Christmas sales? So i have made a lot of my own- if i can say so myself- pretty groovy!
I've been stamping my little heart out with versa colour water mark ink then heat embossing it with stamp it's "bridal" embossing powder. which is glittery and pearl- very christmasy.
Anyway this is my studio and YES I am a scrap-aholic.
thanks for popping by- please leave a comment as I'd love to hear your thoughts and what you are up to too!!
have a fairy happy WOYWW!

The realm of magic- dragonfly symbology

Dragonflies are inhabitants of two realms – water and air, and are seen as the transition between dream and reality. They are associated with color magic, illusion in causing others only to see what you wish, and other mysticism. Dragonflies are often represented in Japanese paintings, representing new light and joy!

I wonder whether this is the attraction to putting them and butterflies in all my recent work?
Hmmm? well all I know is that i really love using them and they seem a perfect foil to those beautiful mariposa papers.
As always I am on the gratitude journey- the more I am  grateful for,  I recognize more positivity and hopefully it will attract more good things.

So all this gratitude and dragonfly talk neatly leads me to show you my latest e bay listing-
A butterfly dragonfly gratitude paper bag album!- how convenient was that!!!? LOL
Anyway newly listed on e bay and ready for sale- if you are from a country that I haven't listed shipping/postage to- please contact me and I'll revise the listing details for you to purchase.
All payments are safe and easy through the PAY PAL payment and e bay system!

have a fairy happy weekend

WOYWW?- missing in action

Oops forgot a week or two???!
Well it was Australia day last wednesday and I was busy at a market, then we had the threat of an impending cyclone - so I guess thats a good excuse?
(all was ok- it never got here and just turned into a wicked storm for some- not us!!)
However these week no such luck- no public holiday just A LOT to do! Which is a good thing.
But now far north Queensland is now under threat from a catagory 5 cyclone thats 500km's wide and packing 300km per hour winds. So all our thoughts are going out to you all in QLD- stay safe!

So this weeks desk has graduated from the scrapbook studio out onto the kitchen table. I seem to have progressive projects all around the house. The round table has 2 paper bag albums on the go. My studio - well it's just a mess- there are the remains of some canvas and easels to finish- papers from an order  i just completed and a pile of stamps ready for cleaning.
Just to make my blog look pretty, thought I add a few pics of my studio 'display' corner units. Whenever somethings completed it gets put in the corner to admire until i feel i can let it go. And yes i know I still have to finish the unicorn/ pegasus painting in the corner!!

I haven't had much of a chance to check anyones else's desks over the past few weeks- sorry :-(
BUT I have organized my Mum an online blog ( Hi MUM!!!!) and rest assured she makes it through each and every one of you ever week- so i am updated on all your goings on's!!
thanks for having a look.
Happy WOYWW!

please hop on by Julia's blog- our wonderful work desk wednesday inventor!!
