Wow what a week for the fairy- in between calving cows and unmentionable farm jobbies I have been inspired to make a memorial album.

Its been a little while since I've made one for ebay- usually these are private commissions.

Provence custom made album for Tanja

Album front cover has a beautiful silver foiled pattern with french words as the focal point

I've added personalised names at the top, distressed the title black and added beautiful soft paper roses

Metal key hole is by TIM HOLTZ- there is a key hanging from the spine too

Photo matt also doubles as a pocket! The opposite page has a flap for extra space

Here is the 8x8 album I’ve made for Tanja and her daughter themed Provence.

When I think of that region in France , i think of  lavender and the green, flowers, springtime, fresh and classical yet modern and funky. 

There is a touch of silver foiled paper throughout which gives this album a really classy feel- I’m not sure that I’ve photographed it that well but you can see slivers of the silver throughout.

I’ve added lots of extra flaps as well as generous journaling areas. A sprinkle of silver metal daisy embellishments and lots of ribbons – to which photos can be slipped underneath.

LOADS of stamping with lots of images throughout.

I wanted a real Paris – France feel to this album so I’ve added a few French words as well as some postage mark shabby chic stamped images and the odd eiffel tower!

There are 12 pages plus fold out pages 8x8 paper bags.

I hope you like it Tanja- Its softer and prettier in real life than my photos :-)

memorial album #2

Memorial album #2 is finished-

This format is 8x8 inches and also has 12 pages- well actually a bit more because I added extra flaps and flip out bits!

Not so flowery this one as its more of a masculine album.

Embossed photo matts are large to fit most size photos- they will look lovely peeking behind precious photo’s

There are a couple of folder pockets for memorabilia as well as the open ends of the bags for cards certificates etc. I have added an extra8 acid free note cards with ruled lines for journaling.

On the inside first page I have added an acrylic flap- which a special photo will look so lovely beneath it!

6x6 paper bag album with 12 pages (well extra if you include the flaps!!)

2 shades of blue and white with LOTS of embossed textures.

Loads of handmade flowers soft and baby’y but not too girly i hope!!

The front has a large space for a photo along with a ribbon tied with a small silver metal dragonfly charm.

The inside pages has ribbons which you can easily slip your photo’s underneath as well as a couple of pockets for cards- nick knacks and memorabilia.

I am so pleased with the softness and classic simplicity of this album.

But you wouldnt believe the amount of work that goes into something looking so simple! LOL
