This album has been so much fun and a challenge to make!
have you noticed how there are not actually many pretty papers and embellishments out there in the beach shell line??
So I made my own- with a scalloped shell design and some swirls- using bridal embossing powder over versa colour ink "sand beige" for a sparkly watermarked effected. Its slightly raised and pearl- very pretty.
I wanted this album to look weddingy but also to have the beach theme which the wedding is going to have, without being too over the top.
So I have used layers of pearl papers- so creamy and subtle- along with bazzills very lush range of "bling" card stock ,which is very shiny and has a sparkly lift to it. The corrugated cards also have a pearl finish and the patterned card stocks are silver foiled and almost look holographic. Very bridaL!
My biggest thrill was to use some handmade papers that came from a boutique studio in Tasmania, I've been waiting for the right project. With their textural flecks they look just like sand.
I must apologize for the quality of the photo's I know they arnt my best- but i needed to get these online and approved before i move onto the matching bridesmaids albums and tags and tag box.
But you'll get the general idea of what i have done!
fingers crossed its ok?
