I know it's been a while since i started this frame- but finally in between orders- markets and calving cows i managed to finish it.
The flowers are gorgeous silk which i have jo sonja glittered and hot glued to the frame.
the frame was painted in pearl acrylic paint from jo sonja
then brushed with jo sonjas gold paint to highlight the crevices.
It was looking a bit plain so i brushed a cooler shade of gold over the top- using a versacolour ink pad. Then i figured to help it stick better I'd emboss it with stamp its holographic embossing powder.
I let the heat gun 'bubble' the paint in places to give it a real shabby chic look.
The overall look is very soft and pretty- I'm really pleased with the effect.

Thanks Deni- I find it's always nice to try something different? came across a couple of shabby chic blogs with this kind of idea and thought i'de give it a go.

have you seen some of the ladies on utube with their stock in thier craft room?
I saw some and thought it looked like our kaisercraft shop!
So does your craft room have a lot of stock as well then?

I had a 'shop by appointment' set up -with a fair bit of bazzill kaisercraft the odd prima, websters pages and daisy d papers along with a few embellishments from twiddleybitz and 2 crafty.K 7 co embellishments and rub ons galore- lets not talk about the amount of ribbons i have!!LOL!
I think people are a bit more reluctant to come out to someones house to shop- so it's been a bit quiet.
I'm not offering that service anymore as it has been a bit disappointing.
I do a few classes in my studio so i have enough stock to see through "my girls" and my own bits and bobs for ebay.
Too scared to look on u tube!

Yes I have quite a big games room filled with goodies, I was a quilter still have some fabrics left over from that should have a garage sale lol
then I have been dollhousing for about 14 years so lots of that now Im onto Mini album scrapping hahahaha sound familiar!!!!
