But i guess after 6 years thats probably a NOT!
which just goes to show fellow scrappers- if there's a paper you like on the market and you love it BUY UP BIG! As it wont be around forever.

Alice in wonderland

This is my latest custom made album creation themed around 'Alice in wonderland.'
When I went to source some embellishments and papers I couldnt find a thing in the scrapbook line- only some dodgy stamps which were in the Uk and would of taken a month to get here.
Couldnt really justify spending $30 on stamps I'd never use!!
so i put on my "alice in wonderland" thinking hat !
tea party
rabbit
cards
watch
mad hatters tea party...
hmmmm so I bought some playing cards- but they were really glossy and colourful and not what i wanted to use in the album- too commercial and tacky.
So i scanned them into photoshop- turned them greyscale, then bitmap and printed them out onto bazzill cardstock.
Each one was then trimmed and the corners rounded with a punch , I then distressed the sides and even stamped a playing card pattern on the back!
Which was probably a bit weird as you can only see the front!LOL
Thinking mad hatter tea party invitations I then made a heaps of tiny weeny envelopes to hide away and place on the pages.
I wanted a funky off kilter look so i made shaped photo matts and placed them on an angle.
Inspired by Alice's blue dress with the white ribbon and  I placed a 'floating'  white suade ribbon across the matt for the photo's to go under. It's furry and lush!
As a bit of an extra I matted some pic's that i downloaded and printed onto bazzil to pop as an extra slip in piece. i figured they would look great over the photo's when they go in or would be nice popped into the open ends of the paper bags.
Most of the embellishments were stuck only in the corners so that photo's tags etc could easily be slipped underneath.
I went mad with lots of stamping- finally got to use the new "chatsworth" stamps from papermania. They have lovely borders and a fantastic chair which I LOVE.
the crown and crown/flourish were from a making memories clear set, the rest I have no idea. The only thing I know is i have TOO MANY STAMPS!!
So i stamped not only a flourishy corner on the photo matts
but also title panels a fob watch and crowns. Some of these i embosssed using a glittery gold embossing powder from stamp it.
They havent photographed that well but the real things have crispy crunchy details.
the flowers i made using the same paperstocks i used through the book - the 'chatsworth' range from papermania.
these were also glossy accented and glittered with kindy glitz.
I added a few pop out papers as well as hidden flaps and library tags.
As a bit of a bonus I also made a packet of small distressed and stamped tags for journalling to go with the pictures.
i had a lot of fun making this and I hope the lady likes it.
in fact it's given me a lot of ideas so i'll be making an 8x8 paper bag album to go on ebay this week!
Of course it wont be the same- as I really have a thing about that BUT i really like this theme.
so keep checking my ebay shop for my new listing!
cheers l xx

Cherish friends Box

This is the second box I made with those tags that couldnt quite fit in the first box!
Dont quite know what i was thinking try to get all 15 in the same box?
So many embellishments on every tag made them a bit too bulky- went a bit mad with the metal flowers , mirrors and dragonflies
Bit dissapointed with the photo's - they really look special in real life!
The butterfly on the front has come out quite dark and you cant see the purple pearl glimmer mist which i have glossy accented with 2 layers as well as kindy glitzed and added rhinestones AND pearls too!

free postage!- get in quick.

Friendship box

Well i was right.... - couldnt fit all 15 tags in a box so i had to make 2 boxes of 7 tags.
Oh and what a shame i might just have to keep the left over one!LOL!
This is the first one all done and listed on ebay
click here to check it out.
the second on is still drying as I went a bit mad with the glossy accents on the butterfly that i have put on the front of the lid.
Probably a bit too much kindy glitz too???
Must be mad- i've put free postage on this bit silly really as ebay will take $5 commission of the top as well :-(
oh well gotta do what a girls gotta do!

Vintage blue HUGE paper bag album

I think this is one of the best albums I've done to date!
Masses of chipboard embellishments which i have glossy accented, glittered and rhinestoned.
The flowers were all hand punched and layered- glossy accented , glittered and rhinestoned too.
I've used more than 2 packs of kaisercraft rhinestones alone!
The papers are from the premium K & co range and are flocked and glittered.
I have made LOTS of hidden  library pockets to stash all your secrets in.
Photo's dont do justice to the amount of detail and work in this piece.
Who ever ends up with it will be a lucky person indeed!!
thanks for looking

Ebay store changes

As you all know things have been very quiet in these hard economic times!
As with everything when times are tough, things need to be re looked at in order to see whether it's viable to keep going on with.

I have now closed my 'shop by appointment' and scrapbook classes due to lack of interest and commitment. So thanks for all of your interest but I wont be continuing with these services.

Before I make any critical decisions about my eBay store,  I though a bit of tweaking and refreshing was in order.
I've rewritten my store header and made some new store categories.
I have been taking advantage of these quiet times to have a look at my products, prices etc and have even created  sales and massively discounted items to get some more interest and sales going.
I have tried to cater for not only the "non scrapper" who wants premade complete items , but also for the "lookers" who are scrapbookers that are looking at my work for inspiration or to copy from. For them I have discounted diy items such as - albums, papers, tags, embellishments and co-ordinated kits of all the things they seem to like in the work that I make myself.

I have added new products in a cheaper price line, offered free postage and massive discounts too.
I'm now a bit at a loss on what to do next - so thought I'd send out this blog to ask if any one has any suggestions- criticisms or ideas?

Please take the time to look at my eBay store
and let me know where I can improve all info is useful
looking forward to hearing from you!

Our journey- vintage travel journey journal album

I have been up all night making this album- damn that Tour de France!!
Figured I couldnt justify watching telly all night and not do anything.... so voila!
Une 6x6 inch paper bag album

I’ve gone a bit made on the interactive side- I've stamped over 35 tags/library pockets and journalling circles.

The patterned papers are from K & company and are beautifully foiled and embossed. I have also added subtle stamping to these pages too.

I added 2 extra fold out flaps for more room AND distressed my little heart out.

Posting on ebay now and ready for purchase!

ALTERED CANVAS'S WITH EASELS

I'm always on a quest for something new and a bit different.
Whilst perusing my local shops looking for some mini box canvas's I came across these gorgeous mini easels and canvas sets.
Then into my stash of beautiful embellishments and voila!
8 little altered shadow box canvas's of sparkle and dangley bits.
I even decorated the easels too- such is the thing when one has a hot glue gun in ones hand- nothing is safe!!
These were fun to do but I'm not looking forward to the hours of uploading pictures and write up's to pop on ebay.
Sharing these with you first.
