Hot from the studio- FAMILY lunch bag paper bag album

Hot from the scrap studio, a beautiful vintage family theme lunch bag scrapbook album! Wouldn’t this look fantastic with old sepia or black and white photo’s? I'm almost tempted to pop in some photo's of my own and keep it myself!
This album I have created with 5 bags- so that’s 10 pages in all with 5 openings to pop in  memorabilia and ephemera. I have also made 3 extra large sheets into the open ends of the bags as a little extra, for more photos and writing.
The album measures 8 inches by just over 9.5 inches and has HEAPS of room for photos.I have made 6 photo matts to fit a standard 4x6” photo, with a tiny bit of extra “frame showing so they will look 3d!  I have been generous with journaling and heading spaces with a touch of gold stamping on each piece. There are also some lovely embossed circle areas to add extra photos.
HINT: I find that circle punches from the brand “friskars” available from K-mart or Spotlight are perfect for trimming your photos for that really professional look!
All my embellishments are handmade -the chipboard has been glimmer misted then stamped and layered with glossy accents, to achieve a high gloss finish professional look. They have photographed a bit dark- they have a real 3d gold shimmer finish- they are like looking into a cats eyes.. spooky!

Many of the pages are decorated with beautiful satin ribbon; there are 3 library pockets with tags- ready for extra comments or journaling. Also there are 2 flaps that extend out for hidden journaling and extra photos that you may want hidden from view.

Phew I'm exhausted writing about it!

VINTAGE ROSE Lunch bag scrapbook journal

From WOYWDW to this!
It's finished!!

This is my latest scrapbook creation!
A beautiful vintage rose theme lunch bag scrapbook album.
I have made this album from 5 bags- so that’s 10 pages in all with 5 openings to pop in all your memorabilia and ephemera.
The album measures 8 inches by just over 9.5 inches and has HEAPS of room for photos. I have made all 5 embossed photo matts to fit a standard 4x6” photo. The decorative ribbons over the photo matt’s are attached behind, so photos can easily slip under these beautiful features.
I have used only quality embellishments. All handmade with details second to none. The chipboard has been glimmer misted then layered with glitz and glossy accented. To achieve a high glitter and gloss finish.
I have also adorned many of the pages with beautiful silk fabric flowers as well as many which are hand cut in my own design. There are 3 library pockets with tags- ready for extra comments or journaling. Each page has hand stamped and glittered journaling boxes ready for headings and notes.

1914 'Family' layout

This was a tricky layout to do!
The photo's i had were so faded they were barely distinguishable.
I scanned them in photoshop and did a bit of adjusting. Still not the flashest but atleast they are visible!
I dont have many old family photo's and these are precious. It was actually an old postcard style photo.
I was lucky enough that my grandfather had written the time date and place on the back.
So it got copied that and added it too as I like the idea of having his own handwriting there.
The chipboard embellishment acts as a "holder" for the copy of the back of the photo 'postcard'.
I also used dimensional glitter on all the butterflies and chip.
The kaiser pearl strips also were nice and subtle- forming a sort of frame around the photo. I stamped and distressed around the photo and on the page too!

The good old days- family tree scrapbook page

After finally finishing scanning in a heap of pic's for my Uncle- i printed a few copies out for myself.
As you all know, I am always making goodies to sell and never get around to my own albums. After getting injured and being off my feet in June/July I made a new resolution  to take time out and do some stuff for me!!
I figure as I work 7 days a week a little" scrapping down time" is well deserved!!
My aim is to try and do at least 1 layout a week, so this is this weeks!
My great grandfather Harold Sells and my dad  as a little boy at 3 years of age.
You can check out my inspireMe album for more details on how I created this page.

our heritage - black and white 8x8 paper bag album

I have just finished and listed this paper bag album on ebay.
After popular demand I have created this album to show case black and white photo's- along the same lines as I did for my Uncle.
this album has 8 double photo matts to house 6x4 inch photo's with a little of the embossed black photo matt showing to form a pretty frame. On the actual bag "pocket ends" - the shorter pages in grey i have put photo matts for 3x5 inch photo's.
the cover has room for one massive pic!
The stamping was done in layers of silver  then grey and black finished off with a touch of kindy glitz and rhinestones.
